  13. Thank you so much for doing this! It’s a wonderful way to support one another and learn about our different blogs. I have two blogs, one for my nonfiction and poetry and another for my fiction writings. I did this because my non fiction site, http://rightingnow.com, is mostly a site of inspiration and hope and my fiction writing, http://saidthecrazymom.com is a bit darker. I didn’t want to scare my friends and family or make them think that I needed an intervention! In the last three years I have experienced the deaths of my mother, my father, my husband, and the man I fell in love with after my husband. I’m still here, still kicking, still living, still writing! I write because I must. I share because I want to help others. Please come by and read at one of my sites. Let me know you’ve been there with a like or a comment and I will click on and read some of your work as well! Lets support each other in our creativity!

    2. OOooo I always wanted to study abroad but never had the funding. I’m also very interested to hear your perspective on the US as you make this adventure! ;D How long are you here for, and how homesick are you by now?

      1. Aw that is a shame! I actually did it last year, was there for 11 months and now I am back home in England now! I surprisingly didn’t get homesick until the second semester but that was only because I wasn’t as busy!

      1. Awwww! Thank you! And I’m glad your going to check out my blog!!!……and that you picked a more unique name for your daughter! I used to hate my name, but through time I’ve developed a liking for it, due to its unique name. My last name however, I still don’t like after all these years. It’s hard for other to pronounce, 11 letters long, if I started a business with my name, I would have to change it , or cut it out completely! It’s a Polish name, and that’s the only thing I like about it!

      2. Haha my best friend in high school was Blasingame but he owned it. Ya inwante we my daughter’s to have unique names, I was jess the most common name the year I was born and the next so EVERYONE was Jess, or Jessie, or Jesse, male and female. Teachers always called me Jenn and one called me steph so my name wasn’t special and still no one could get it right…so I wanted my daughter’s to have unique names. K is turning 2 in May.

      3. Oh wow…. that must of sucked…. At my school, everyone always has crap to say about everyone, and we have lots of repetitive names. So for an example of a gossip conversation: “Did you know that Haley-” “Haley who? Which one?”
        I can hardly imagine how bad that must have been if your high school was like mine!
